I had Jim and Chris Barr with Ron Mon out again today and they brought with them their friends Brad and Jake Walters. This was Jake's first saltwater trip, so expectations were high. We ran up to the Shrewsbury Rocks, where there was some bird play and we trolled up a couple of bluefish. Unfortunately this bite fell apart and after a working the area hard for a couple of hours, we ran back south to where the fleet was jigging and and trolling near the Axel Carlson Reef.  We put a couple of blues in the box, and then played catch and release the rest of the day.
