After weeks of non stop wind, we were able to get out yesterday afternoon for an Intercoastal trip. Dale and Nathan from the UK joined us for a little exploration. The ocean has cleared from all of the freshwater that was dumped from Okeechobee. There were thousands of small Jack Crevalle surfing through the waves at the inlet with birds working overhead. After we released a few Jacks we motored over to another spot in  the Intercoastal and picked up Spanish Mackeral, Bluefish, Lane Snappers and other reef fish.  No Goliath Grouper, no sharks, but it felt great to be fishing again !
